The staff of Rural Development Fund PF together with representatives of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic paid a working visit to the Republic of Albania from November 23 to November 30, 2014.
The group from the Kyrgyz Republic consisted of 5 persons:
- Director of the Forest Management Department of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (SAEPF) Beisheev B.K.;
- Director of the State Natural Park (SNP) "Chon-Kemin" Dabaev K.K.;
- RDF Project Coordinator Mr. A. Omorbekov;
- B.A. Koichumanov, RDF Specialist Consultant;
- RDF Specialist Tursalieva A.
The purpose of the study tour was to study the international experience on participatory forest management on the example of the Republic of Albania. The study tour was carried out within the framework of the project "Model of Local Community Participation in Mountain Ecosystem Management in the Kyrgyz Republic" funded by the Christensen Foundation (USA).
