Director of the PF “Rural Development Fund” Ms Kuluipa Akmatova participates in the 20th session of the UNESCO International Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in New Delhi (8–13 December 2025). It is a great honour to represent RDF at this forum and take part in discussions on key issues related to the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage.
As part of the session program, the ICH NGO Forum will also take place. This is an important platform for NGOs to exchange experiences and strengthen the role of civil society in safeguarding living heritage.
Besides, within the forum, a historic moment for our country occurred: the national beverage “Maksym” has been officially inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, marking a major achievement for our culture and international recognition.
