On February 17-21, 2025 Indonesia holds the Asia Land Forum 2025 (ALF) which serves as a key annual platform addressing a wide range of land-related issues in the region. The goal of the forum is to increase awareness about people’s rights to land and promotion of effective, inclusive collaboration with governments at national and regional levels.
ALF brings together the members of the ILC in Asia, and other stakeholders and creates opportunities to learn from and highlights the importance of land rights in addressing global challenges such as land conflict, climate, and biodiversity crisis, increasing inequalities, and unsustainable food systems. The Forum recognizes the important role played by women and indigenous people in land management and conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity.
RDF represented by Director Akmatova Kuluipa participates in Women-led Efforts in Ecosystem Restoration Session.
