As a result of the project on “Dissemination of Kyrgyz pastoral and environmental knowledge and support to the community on joint management of mountain ecosystems in the Kyrgyz Republic”, RDF has released a new updated and supplemented series of books on Kyrgyz traditional knowledge.
We had published a series of brochures on traditional knowledge to help livestock. This new, updated series include the following books: “Nomadic Kitchen”, “Yurt: Nomads’ House”, “Tips on Saypker”, “Camel: Beauty of Nomads”, “Jailoo (Summer Pasture) Games”, “From the Depth of Ages: Plants Around Us ”,“ Treatment of Animals ”,“ Nomadic Pastures ”, and“ Nomadic Rituals ”.
Each book is full of information and illustrations on traditional knowledge collected in different regions of the Kyrgyz Republic, and also from the ethnic Kyrgyz living in China.
