Meeting of the Supervisory Board of RDF
On January 16, 2025, the annual meeting of the RDF Supervisory Board (SB) took place. The meeting included a summary of the organization's activities and achievements over the past year.
During the discussion, important topics were addressed, such as community involvement, collaboration with government agencies, and legal review issues. The SB provided recommendations and advice regarding ongoing projects. This not only helped us identify weaknesses but also allowed us to reassess the relevance of our initiatives.
Attendees included Amantur Zhaparov, a well-known Kyrgyz historian and ethnographer, who is a Doctor of Historical Sciences and a member of the Association of Anthropologists of the Kyrgyz Republic; Ilgiz Kambarov, the former executive director of Green Alliance KG (attending online); and Jyldyz Tilekeeva, an author of books on Kyrgyz traditional knowledge and an expert on the traditional culture of the Kyrgyz people. Also present was Orozakunova Begayym, the Chair of the Coordinating Council of the Step Up project, a representative of the Association for the Development of Education in Kyrgyzstan (AROK), and the Chair of the Board of the Public Association “Profteh Keiji.”
The SB emphasized that RDF projects are very important for the development of rural areas in the country. “RDF aims not only to address relevant issues but also to continually improve its methods, enhancing engagement with the youth.”
Thank you to all participants and guests!
