We are pleased to announce that recently the RDF became one of the members of the International Consortium for Territories of Living - ICCA, and participated in an online welcome event for new members. The ICCA Consortium is committed to promoting the proper recognition and support of the ICCA (Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities Protected Areas) in the regional, national and global arena.

This goal is set in the context of a broader vision of biodiversity conservation and ecological functions; ensuring sustainable livelihoods and well-being of indigenous peoples and local communities; and achieving full respect for their cultural diversity.
