An awarding ceremony for the winners of a competition for “The best coverage of issues on beekeeping industry and its development opportunities in Kyrgyzstan” took place at the RDF office in Bishkek. This competition was a part of the project on “Equal access of beekeepers to pastures in the Kyrgyz Republic”. The winners included various journalists, and certificates, monetary awards and gifts were awarded to them.
The judging panel consisted of representatives of RDF and Republican Association of Kyrgyzstan’s Beekeepers, and they thoughtfully coonsidered all the candidates before deciding finally on four winners. The winners are Kifayat Askerova, the editor-in-chief of Slovo Kyrgyzstana newspaper, Irina Bayramukova, a correspondent of Han-Tengri magazine, Aleksandr Niksdorf, an editor of Comment.kg, a news website, and Bakyt Tolkanov, a correspondent at Tushtuk news agency.
