Telangana Jagruthi International Youth Conference was held in January 2019 in Hyderabad, India. The event was organized by Telangana Jagruthi, one of the largest non-governmental organizations in India dedicated to skill development, empowerment and sustainable development goals. The theme of the conference was "Gandhian Path to Sustainability and Innovation".
This was a partnership programme for young leaders from around the world who can positively impact their communities through the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. TJIYLC brings together young leaders from diverse backgrounds and serves as a convergence point for young professionals, students, innovators and policymakers to come together and build consensus on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and other critical development challenges. Delegates were allowed to gain leadership experience, join a strong global leadership network and create a platform to address critical issues.
TJIYLC 2019 facilitated a process that strengthens effective youth participation in the planning, implementation and evaluation of various global issues related to the process of defining the future framework of global development from a Gandhian perspective.
