The RDF Foundation is implementing the project "Improving Chychkan Gorge Management" with the support of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund. The project is being implemented in the Chychkan Gorge area of the Toktogul district in the Jalal-Abad region.

The aim of the event was to inform youth about the importance of preserving natural areas, to raise awareness and active interest in environmental issues, and to stimulate and involve youth in actions for the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources in the Chychkan Gorge.
Training sessions were conducted on the topics of "Environmental Activism: Moving towards a Sustainable Future" and "The Power of Green Skills: Transforming Environmental Consciousness and Action." The training focused on developing skills in using social media for nature conservation, with a particular emphasis on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Additionally, a representative from the Toktogul Forestry shared information about their activities and experiences.

An excursion was organized in the Chychkan Gorge, accompanied by a guide who provided insights into the gorge's ecosystem, the wildlife inhabiting the area, and the plants that grow in the gorge. The guide also highlighted the significance of biodiversity for local communities.
