From September 22 to 26, the Chon-Kemin Valley became a place where the sky and the earth met once again, where the breath of the wind and the warmth of mountain rivers merged with the rhythm of human hearts. Here, in a sacred circle, gathered the keepers of ancient traditions and friends from around the world - members of the World Union of Indigenous Spiritual Practitioners (WUISP), representatives of the Land of Snow Leopard Network, and the Wayfinders community. These days became a time of living unity, when prayer, song, and silence spoke louder than words.
The Fire - ancient, eternal, and alive - became the heart of this gathering. In its flame, past and present came together, people and spirits, prayers and the breath of the earth. We came to remember who we are. To once again feel our connection with Mother Earth, to hear her voice - in the murmuring water, in the whisper of the grass, in the stillness of the mountain peaks.
The Ceremony of Fire united not only the guardians of spiritual traditions but also those working in science, culture, and education. It became a meeting point where spirituality encountered modernity, where ancient wisdom found resonance in new technologies. Meetings, conversations, rituals, and shared prayers - all of this became a living reminder that the Earth is one being, and we are its breath.
This year, special attention was given to the youth. They came not only to learn but to absorb the spirit of guardianship, so that one day they could carry this light forward - into their communities, into their lives. Within the circle of elders and young people, a dialogue about the future was born, a vision of a world where science and spirituality walk side by side, supporting one another.
The Ceremony of Fire is more than an event. It is the breath of the Earth, a reminder that all living beings are interconnected. It is a space of memory, where the ancestors watch us through the smoke of the fire, and we promise to continue their path — the path of love, respect, and gratitude.
