We are pleased to announce the launch of a new biocultural initiative in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The project is implemented by Rural Development Fund (Kyrgyzstan) in partnership with Snow Leopard Conservancy (SLC) and the Eco-Cultural Association “Gandji Vatan” Republic of Tajikistan, with support from S.O.S. Serving Our Spirits Fund.
This initiative integrates: • environmental education • traditional ecological knowledge • intergenerational dialogue • revival of cultural practices such as the Snow Leopard Dance
• community-based engagement in mountain regions
The project aims to strengthen biocultural heritage and foster a new generation of youth who perceive conservation not merely as a responsibility, but as a cultural and spiritual value.
We are grateful to S.O.S. Serving Our Spirits Fund and Snow Leopard Conservancy for their trust and partnership.
